Flickr

Hey Folks! Just wanted to write a quick blog about my new Flickr page. I got a DSLR camera for Christmas this year, and I've been striving to take more photos. I thought it would be fun to post a photo of the day so that everyone could see what I'm working on. So, without any further adieu here is the Perfect Fit Crochet Flickr Page!

Okay, if you've read my blog you probably know I enjoy all things nerdy. Especially all things Mario related! Several months ago I decided wouldn't it be awesome to have a hat like the one Mario wears? So, that is just what I whipped up! :)

After I finished Mario I decided I had to make his awesome counterpart, Luigi! I still want to make a Wario and Waluigi cap annd perhaps some other versions. I really like the light blue hat he wears when he throws ice balls, lol.

Once I finished these hats I had been playing lots of Super Mario Wii and I was inspired to make a Goomba beanie. I know he's supposed to be a bad guy, but he's horribly cute! ;)

I also happened to have all three of these hats ordered around the same time. I saw it as the perfect opportunity for a Goomba photoshoot, lol. Here is my favorite shot from the set.

Disney

Well, I posted pictures on here before of my Mickey Mouse beanie. I said I was going to make a Minnie Mouse beanie to go with Mickey.
It took me a while but I finally was able to finish a Minnie beanie.

Both hats are availabe in my store here. The Minnie bow can be made in any color of your choosing. These hats are perfect for visiting both Disney Word and Disneyland! :)

Updates and Lots of Them!

Hello Folks! I have been a terrible terrible blogger everything has pretty darn hectic. So, I wanted to jump on here and give some quick updates on the items I've been working on.

I made a one eyed Minion which I posted in my last blog, so I of course had to add a two eyed Minion so here he is. Ever since Despicable Me came out I've found myself making nothing but Minions, lol. If you want your own Minion get it here. 

Next, I had a special request for a Kung Fu Panda beanie. It was hard to achieve the characteristics of the panda from the movie, because of the 3D animation. I think it turned out looking more like just a regular panda, but he was still cute so I listed him in my shop.

I'm a big fan of the Disney show Phineas and Ferb and I love Perry the Platypus. So, naturally I had to make beanie especially after I had several requests for him. I want to do more items such as Peter the Panda and Ducky Momo. You can get Perry here at Perfect Fit Crochet.

Finally, I decided to make a Hello Kitty beanie. I've been a fan of Hello Kitty since I was a kid. I love all the different Hello Kitty plushies that you can find. So, I'd like to do different Hello Kitty hats in the future.
